Incredible nice host and nice cook! I can not find anything bad about the food. I am full every time and it tastes good to me. Seasonal food as if time is shells (on pre-order) or pot pie on certain days of the week, wonderful! You come with frequent visits with the host or even if the kitchen closes with the cook to talk and I can always say, really delicious, really great!

Large selection of food and drinks. If you want to eat in a "rustic" restaurant with a good, down-to-earth map is right for you. Host and service have been very nice. Recommended.

A very local restaurant with a good home cooking. Value for money is great. Bitburger, Bolten and Köstritzer beers are served here ... And not everywhere available, but here: Bitburger Kellerbier vom Keg. Of course, there are also soft drinks here. 🙂 The dishes are mostly schnitzel in different variations (schnitzel hunter, cream schnitzel, Florida Schnitzel, Schnitzel Bauern Art, etc.). My favorite: Devil's schnitzel 😈 🌶️ Thursdays is here from 18:00 day cake. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is very polite and hospitable. After the meal we were even invited by the innkeeper to another obstler. 👍🏻 Verdict: Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Were poorly supplied (drinks brought very irregularly), unfriendly / outrageous staff. Food is ok, but when we visited there were not enough fresh ingredients (potatoes), so the product was picked out of the glass. Definitely not recommended.

Very good and above all freshly prepared meals and large portions in a very cozy and clean restaurant with good and friendly service. A visit is highly recommended! I visit the restaurant on a regular basis with my family and I would recommend anyone to eat there.

Good home cooking, absolutely delicious and cheap! On Friday evenings, fritters, in the shell season the absolute best mussels on pre-order. Closed on Wednesdays. Going to eat there regularly for years, has never had any reason to moan. Sometimes a few minutes longer, but always reasonable. Food at Kathy's house Malzkorn anytime !!!

Food is simple but delicious. The service, however, was a disaster. Not only do you have to wait a long time for the food, it is also difficult to replenish your drinks. If you want to eat here, you should strengthen yourself beforehand and drink enough. Everything just takes a long time in the restaurant. The food offer is sufficient. The staff reacted to inquiries regarding the time until the arrival of the food rather irritable and surly. You don't get the impression of being welcome. The ambience corresponds to a home-style restaurant with a taproom and adjoining dining area, which can apparently also be separated off for vet events. It's simple but neat and tidy. Because of the long waiting time and the rather surly staff, I don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, you can not give zero stars! We recently waited 3 hours for our main course at a birthday party! All guests who came after us were served earlier. To make matters worse, that all staff rude, sometimes even outrageous was. On the friendly question what is going on today (a part of our family are regular customers) came responses from the staff a la "What's going on today, unbelievable". The landlord himself has allegedly forgotten our reservation and has not even lost a word of apology at this huge wait. The waiting time for the drinks also increased proportionally with the passage of time. However, the food itself was good, there is actually no complaining. Delicious good home cooking. Personally, I would not visit the restaurant again. Although the food is quite good, it can not outweigh the eternal wait and unfriendly staff.
